I’d be happy with a mom like that

I’d be fucking happy if I even lived in a country that allowed me to get accidentally lost in Paris. Fucking New Zealand, surrounded by sea.

Fucking america. You drive six hours and you’re in the same god damn state.

Guys the Eurostar is literally a train that goes UNDERWATER from the UK to France

That is horrifying, Europeans are hardcore

I feel really bad writing this, but please read.
For those who don’t know, my name is Pierce and I’m transgender ftm. My home situation has never been good, but ever since I came out to my family they have gotten worse… My parents have been refusing to buy me nessisary things I need. Clothes, food, I haven’t had a bed for about a year. I sleep on the floor. I’d get a job and save up money, but my parents restrict everything. Since I’m 14, not yet the legal work age of 15 in my state, I can’t get a job. My parents won’t let me find any way to make money. The hardly even let me go out with friends. I’ve recently started volunteering at a youth wellness center but I don’t make any money from that. I just enjoy being with the kids and my friends and away from home.
Now that winter is coming it’s warmer clothes weather. And I have none. The only warm clothes I have is my girlfriends hoodie, she is letting me keep it so I don’t freeze in the morning. Things are getting so bad I’m having trouble focusing in school and things seem so shitty I just want to run away but I know I don’t have anywhere to go. I have to be here for another four years.
I feel really terrible doing this, but I wouldn’t unless I needed too. I really need winter clothes. I would do transgender clothes exchanges and stuff, but I’d get beaten by my parents if they knew I was reaching out for help. I’m hoping I can get the money I need and say someone else got the clothes for me. A friend or something. I have no clue yet, I just know I need to get clothes before winter is here. I have nothing warm. I hardly have enough clothes as it is.
If anyone could donate to me I’d be so grateful. I’m not looking for anything crazy, even $100 would buy me enough warm clothes to last me throughout the winter. My paypal is kohaicat@gmail.com even just a dollar would help me
I don’t have much to offer, but I want to give little thank you doodles based on your blog to anyone who donates. I’d be so grateful. Please send me a private message so I can thank you personally.
Even if you can’t donate, thank you for taking the time to read this

fucking protect trans youth at all costs

The minute I get the money I’m donating :)

1. push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.

2. push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable.

3. get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else.

4. stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything.

5. buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice.

6. buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small.

7. strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full.

8. organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle.

9. have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.

10. push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dog’s behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog.

11. message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. push yourself to follow through.

13. think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything.

14. become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends.

15. lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.

A self care list. I’ve been working on this. I promise it’s worth it.

Do you understand how scary this picture is

god forbid a real person do real person things he wasnt just a robot who killed people jesus fucking christ

uh yeah its not like he killed and tortured six million jews or anything

Hold on just a tick. Listen, I’m Jewish, so I’m perfectly capable of understanding that what he did was just…..well, there are no words for it. But let’s not round it up to simply Jews that got killed. It was six million people that died in those camps, not just Jews. Did you know that homosexuals were sent there, too? Yeah, I’m sure you did. They had to wear special little symbols on their clothes. Do you know what it was? It was a pink triangle.
It was six million PEOPLE.
But you let that roll over in your mind for a while and you are going to forever see this man as a monster, but that’s not what he was. He was someone who thought he was truly doing something right for his nation, no matter how shitty he was doing it. Believe me when I say that I don’t like him. I really don’t. My grandfather’s brothers died in those camps, and my grandfather escaped to Spain, then to Mexico. He was lucky.
This is not a monster holding hands with a little girl.
This is Adolf Hitler, a man, holding hands with a little girl.
Yeah. It’s fucking scary. It really is. Do you know why?
It’s because you’re seeing that he wasn’t, in fact, a monster. You’re seeing in this picture that he was a man. He was a man, and that’s really the saddest part of it all.

As a History major who specializes in the history of early modern Europe, I’ve studied a lot of dictators in detail, not just Hitler. The number one mistake anyone could ever make in history is making the assumption that only inhuman monsters are capable of doing terrible things. Stop dehumanizing Hitler just so you can reassure yourself that “normal” humans aren’t capable of doing bad things. Hitler liked children and dogs, he was a vegetarian and he cried like a little boy when his mother died. I’m not saying he was a good, innocent person, but when you stop attributing human characteristics to historical figures like Hitler, it’s how you overlook people just like him in real life, and it’s how people like him end up back in power.

That last statement.

Wow, this is deep cutting stuff.
